PatientPartnersPatients Revisions

This morning @jx466 opened #17 (closed) and reported that there was an issue with the PatientPartnersPatients view. The issue was quickly resolved by @jcd71 (!16 (merged)), but it made me think that it would be worthwhile to revisit the logic and see if there are any improvements we can make. Yao developed that query a long time ago and it could probably use a little TLC now that Epic has become more broadly implemented.

I think that this view has the potential to be very powerful for our analytics, but even I'm a little wary of using it because I just don't know if it's the right way to go.

I'd like to open up a discussion about that logic to see if anyone has any ideas about how it could/should be changed to more accurately reflect the patients cared for by Partners physicians. Does anyone have a query that they use that differs from the view?

One thing that immediately comes to mind is revisiting any filters on ReportGrouper...TXT - these always make me a little uncomfortable as they can vary from site to site (as we saw with Joe's issue).

It also may be worthwhile to add features to this view, such as a flag that demarcates risk and non-risk patients.

So... any thoughts?
